Consultant Urologist and Surgeon with 20 years of experience in healthcare and wellness of the patients. Providing personalised services and facilities for maximising better health outcomes, satisfaction and wellness of the patients in the field of urology. Working as a team of urologists with my fellow urologists, we have established and developed the first dedicated 25 bedded Super Speciality Urology Hospital in Chhattisgarh which is delivering best of the medical services in central India.

Introduction

Belongs to a very humble background. Born in the house of a labourer in a small village Hingna situated in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. Though my father was compelled to stop his education after ninth class due to poor family background, he always dreamt that his children should get the education of their choice. He tried very hard for this. 

Education

1990-1997: Proud Navodayan:- After completing primary education in 1990 from villageschool, got selected for central government’s residential CBSE School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nagpur for further education (class VI to XII). Passed 10 th & 12 th class examination with flying colours. I was the school topper in 12 th class examination. 

1997-2002: Completed MBBS in first attempt from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur

2004: Completed internship for MBBS course.

2006-2009: PGIMER, Chandigarh:- Selected for MS (General Surgery) at prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh through national entrance exam. Completed MS in 2009.

2009:PGIMER, Chandigarh:- Selected for super specialty Urology MCH course through national entrance exam at Prestigious Post graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh. Completed the course in 2012.

2012: Got travel fellowship to complete a course in Robotic Surgery in the USA. Received various prestigious awards and Gold Medals during my educational period. 

2023:- Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) from Govt. J. Yoganandam Chhattisgarh College, Raipur

Professional Journey

I was the first MBBS doctor from my entire Hingna taluka. 2012-2017: Consultant Urologist at Shree Narayana Hospital Raipur. Played key role in establishing and developing the Department of Urology in the hospital. 2017-2019: Head of Department and Assistant Professor of Urology at DKSPGI Government Institute & Hospital Raipur. Provided expertise in establishing the Department of Urology in the hospital. Started a super speciality urology Hospital Lotus Hospital & Advance Urology Center Raipur on 24 th July 2017 in a rented building as a partnership firm with Dr. Ashish Kumar Sharma, (MBBS, MS, DNB-Urology).

Present Status

Working as a team we established and developed ‘Lotus Hospital & Advance Urology Center’ Raipur, the first dedicated Urology Hospital in Chhattisgarh. We manage to own our building in 2019. For the last 5 years we have established ourselves as a Tertiary Urology super speciality hospital, providing all high-end urology facilities. Presently our hospital is a 25 bedded super speciality hospital with 3 working Urologists, providing best of the medical services and facilities in the field of urology. We are trying our best to fulfil the needs of the patients and provide them better treatment and utter satisfaction.
